Mr. Mike Bristol serves as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, as a member of the executive management team. Mr. Bristol brings nearly four decades of expertise in both commercial and government contracting work and supporting complex federal program requirements.
Mr. Bristol previously served as President of Comtech's Command and Control Technologies Group since his previous company TeleCommunication Systems, Inc (TCS) was acquired in February 2016. This $250,000,000.00 business unit provided C4ISR, Communication Solutions, for DoD, Public Sector, and Foreign Military Sales. Prior to TCS’ acquisition, he served as Senior Vice President and Government Solutions Group President for all of the government business divisions of TCS. In little more than a decade, Mr. Bristol turned a small scale boutique $30M business into a $200M+ business, primarily through organic growth. Mr. Bristol led a strategic captures team that won over 42 government contract vehicles, with a total contract ceiling of $150B. Prior to joining TCS in 2004, Mr. Bristol served as a Senior Director with Oracle Corporation in their public sector. Mr. Bristol has an extensive background in database design, complex software development, Internet web-publishing, Internet eCommerce, and professional services associated with application development. He started his practice with 2 consultants and grew into 60+ Oracle consultants providing DBA, Application Development and Support for all US Navy and USMC business. Bristol served nine years as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Infocus Communications, providing a wide range of marketing communication services, including designing complex marketing campaigns, distribution of orders, and call center support for USG, Non-Profit, and Commercial Entities. Prior to that, he was employed by Atlantic Research Corporation where he held several positions. He has held board positions with Infocus Communications, The Clovis Group, and TechAmerica's Public Sector Board.
Mr. Bristol graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. He served as a Captain and U.S. Army military intelligence officer. He is a member of the Association of the United States Army as well as a number of other Department of Defense and communication-related professional societies.
