This position will be a member of an engineering team focused on the application of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) languages, methods, and tools to support development of models for a complex weapon system. The ideal candidate will have experience/education in systems engineering, design engineering, and system modeling using SysML. The candidate shall apply this knowledge to develop weapon system models of system requirements, interfaces, architecture and behavior. This position will require the candidate to work with a specialized team of Government and Contractor engineers, using state of the art systems engineering and software development tools, to integrate existing subsystem models into a coherent high level weapon system modeling and simulation environment. STS is searching for a full-time Senior Windchill Developer in Warren, MI. Candidate must have Sr Windchill development/administrative experience. Candidate must have excellent technical knowledge in Windchill installs, re-hosts, vaulting, security, updates, upgrades, data loads, and ability to develop customized workflows, Reports, User Interfaces, Services, and integrations to the Windchill architecture. Candidate must have excellent knowledge of SDLC methodologies for Product Development. Requires excellent knowledge of PLM/Windchill capabilities including Part, BOM, Document, CAD, visualization, and Change Management. Knowledge of Windchill ThingWorx and Navigate is a plus.

The Thingworx Developer will focus primarily on developing Thingworx applications to simplify, streamline and improve user experience accessing and processing information from the PTC Windchill PLM system. Applications will also be developed that provide streamlined access to detailed product information retrieved from multiple systems of record. The Systems Administrator will maintain, upgrade and provide support for clients software, hardware, and networks. The Systems Administrator needs to be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly be available to respond to help desk requests after hours. The individual should be able easily to communicate technical concerns and solutions to many different people with varying degrees of technical knowledge as well as work with individuals in all department to help solve their technical issues. The Systems Administrator is also responsible for maintaining our system infrastructure, including firewalls, testing computer equipment, backing up databases, installing and updating malware software, installing and rebuilding existing servers as well as other processes.
