Nsite develops and delivers FDA's first mobile application

Today, HHS’ Food and Drug Administration launched their first mobile application – the “Drug Shortages” app, now available for both iOS and Android devices. The app allows users to browse and sign-up to receive real-time updates on information regarding drug shortages, as well as report drug shortages to the FDA. Search features also allow users to explore the data via a drug name, category, and active ingredients. This application was developed to improve access to information about drug shortages, as part of the FDA’s goals established in the Strategic Plan for Preventing and Mitigating Drug Shortages.
