STS is providing on-site SME support for the Army’s Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) as JMTC moves to use ACE Windchill to manage their CAD. As the only multi-purpose and vertically integrated metal manufacturer in the Department of Defense, the center possesses the unique technical expertise and equipment to manufacture products high in quality and sustainability. 3D models and supporting tooling, CNC programs, parts and drawings will be managed in Windchill in order to provide controlled access to parts, CAD, Bill of Materials, managed baselines, and technical data packages. STS is working with the personnel to develop the processes that will be used to manage the technical data, as well as the configuration of Windchill needed to support these processes for JMTC.

As of close of business on June 30, 2016, former STS subsidiary, Nsite LLC, will be fully merged with with Strategic Technical Services, LLC (STS). With this consolidation of capabilities, STS will operate with two distinct groups - Systems Engineering, the current STS offerings, and Software Development, the legacy Nsite capabilities. Nsite operated as a subsidiary of STS for the past year, since their acquisition in summer 2015.
